New Trail Signage at Balancing Rock

Parks staff have installed new interpretive panels along the Balancing Rock trail, highlighting geological history and local wildlife. The signs were developed in consultation with community members and Mi’kmaw knowledge keepers, helping visitors understand the cultural and natural significance of the site.
Community Wharf Upgrade Announced
- Details
The Municipality of Digby County has approved funding to repair and upgrade the Tiverton wharf. The project will replace aging wooden pilings and improve safety for local fishermen and tour operators. Construction is expected to begin in October and finish before the 2026 tourist season.
